I had the wonderful opportunity to work with some amazing young ladies a few weeks ago.

They were all title holders in the Miss Idaho Falls Scholarship Program for 2013.

Tonight they will be crowning next year's titles holders.

While we were shooting Aubrey's session there was a group of guys that were oogling her, 

of course we had to take time out for a snapshot of her admirers.

Heidi's DYW Portraits

First off I need to warn you about the picture overload...

I think this is the largest preview I have ever posted.

Can you blame me with the beautiful subject that I had...

Can we say GORGEOUS?!?!?

Heidi was so much fun to work with and so photogenic, a natural in front of the camera.

I can totally see why she won DYW (Distinguished Young Women) this year.

For those of you not familiar with DYW it used to be called Junior Miss.

Heidi is getting ready for State DYW and needs a layout for the program.

I was honored her mother contacted me to do this for them,

now all they have to do is pick their favorite images so we can get her layout entered.

Good Luck with that one mom, Heidi can't take a bad photo...

Miss Idaho 2012 - Whitney Wood

I had the wonderful opportunity last month of photographing Whitney Wood who is Miss Idaho.

She needed some photos for the program to the pageant coming up and I was honored when they asked me.

She was so much fun to work with and very easy to photograph.

As you can see she is beautiful...not only on the outside but on the inside.

She was sweet and welcoming to all the little girls who were in awe of her as we walked around the park taking pictures. 

Her pageant platform is "Handbags for Hope, Giving Women Confidence They Can Carry." She has done so much with this. Whit­ney collects gently used purses/handbags and fills them with items and good­ies every woman wants in her bag, and takes them to the shel­ters and women’s orga­ni­za­tions.

In January Whitney will represent Idaho at the Miss America 2013 pageant in Las Vegas. 

I wish her the best of luck and can't wait to watch the pageant!
