Graduation Announcements - Class of 2011

I have had fun designing announcements for graduation lately. Thought I'd share some of the designs:

Waiting For Baby "K"

I have said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE maternity pictures. I think every mom-to-be should have maternity pictures taken. It's a beautiful part of life and an exciting time for first time parents. This is the case for Jessie and Shawn, the anticipation of the unknown - I love it. These two will be wonderful parents. I am so excited for Jessie to start her journey of motherhood, I know how long she has waited and she will be an amazing mother - she has that natural motherly instinct....for those who know Jessie know exactly what I am talking about. 

Here is the soon-to-be parents (who are each fighting for their chosen "K" name....the reason for the two names spelled on the blocks). 

Can't wait to meet Baby "K" and see which chosen name he will receive.

My Kiddos

I had a session sadly cancel (death in the family) so I decided to finally pull out my new backdrops I have been dying to try and my cute lace outfits I have had for a while. I also had been needing to take my daughters 18-month portraits since she is now 19-months-old. So I am calling it good for her 18-month portraits.

Anyways here is my sweet little girl:

I couldn't believe how happy she was, usually these attempts end up with her crying, and sometimes me too because I get so frustrated. My son also decided he wanted his picture taken and he posed and smiled all by himself. And I finally got a picture of them together both smiling and both looking at the camera. It was a good day. I love my kiddos!

Keagan is getting Baptized

I had the opportunity to do a quick little mini session with this handsome 8-year-old who is getting ready to be baptized. He also happens to be my nephew, who my son adores and looks up to. This session lasted about 10 minutes because of the storm that rolled in while we were shooting.

Drake's Newborn Portraits

Drake's mommy has been waiting a while for this preview....I had a hard time picking my favorites so this is going to be a LONG preview, but very CUTE! I got to try out a lot of fun new props (thanks to Jennifer with The Happy Top Shop). One thing I love about my job is getting to do Newborn sessions with brand new parents. Drake is a very loved little boy and you can tell by the way his parents look at him, it's so precious! What a lucky baby.
