Amelia is 6 months old

I just adore this sweet little girl! She is such a doll.
Can't believe she is already 6 months old!
We had a hard time getting her to smile at anything but the ground.
And everytime we laid her down she would pull her arms back...
her mother says she is always, "planking".
But I think the session was still a success,
who needs perfect arm poses and big smiles when you have beautiful baby blue eyes?
Such a beauty!

Here is Amelia at 6 months...

Boston's Newborn Portraits

Boston came in for his Newborn pics a week ago and did a fabulous job for being 3 weeks old.
I usually don't do Newborn sessions after 2 weeks old because they are harder to get asleep and pose.
But Boston did a pretty good job at letting us pose him.
If it weren't for his binkie I don't know if we would of made it though. lol.
He loves his binkie.
I was so happy we decided to do pics because he was a joy to work with.
Such a sweet baby and a little cutie.

Here is Boston's preview:

Nikelle's 3 Months Portraits

I love photographing babies at 3 months old
For the most part you can just lay them down and they give you lots of smiles...
or they get mad because they can't roll over. lol. You never know.
This little sweetheart had some smiles to give but decided those few were good enough.
It's a good thing I love her so much. She is my niece and she is just so sweet!
I love snuggling her. Isn't she beautiful!

Korbin's Newborn Portraits

Oh boy I had so much fun photographing Korbin.
He is such a sweet baby and so very happy.
Seriously he smiled about a dozen times during our session.
So darn CUTE!
I am so happy his mommy brought him in for me to capture his newborns.
I also enjoyed getting to chat and play with his adorable big sister...she didn't want her picture taken though.

Here is handsome little Korbin:

Sofia's Newborn Portraits

Sweet little Sofia was a doll.
She only slept for about 10 minutes of the whole session,
but with those cute pouty lips and beautiful skin it didn't matter.
I love the little crown her mommy brought with her to be photographed with.
Sofia is definitely a little princess and a joy to work with.

The Young Family

I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing my sister and her family while I was on vacation.
It was so much fun and a totally different setting than I am used to. Makes me want to move by the ocean.
I love this family and I have missed them so much since they moved.
Glad I was able to visit them and capture these family portraits for them.

A New Year...

Happy 2013!!!

Yes I know I am a few weeks late but since I was on vacation until the 17th my new year hasn't really started until now. lol.

I am excited for a new year, I have lots of fun things planned and I can't wait to share them.

First off Mystic Memories will be getting a new look. Check it out...

Photobucket

I will be switching over my blog and facebook to the new look hopefully in the next week. My packaging will hopefully be ready by the first of February - it is going to be soooo CUTE!

Another thing that will be getting a makeover is my pricing. I know some of you won't be very happy about this but I don't think any of you would like working for less than minimum wage...and neither do I. lol.

My scheduling is the last thing that will be changing. I tried to do this last year and was pretty good until July came but now I am going back to only taking 2-3 sessions a week. For my sanity and my family's sake this is a must. (For those of you who haven't been following my blog for that long or don't remember you will find that post here.

I think that's pretty much what is changing around here.

I look forward to the new year and new changes.

-Misty :)
