Harper and Willow turn ONE

This session was so fun and you would of never guessed we had some problems. lol.

First off mom forgot all their outfits in Pocatello...no biggy because I have TONS of girly stuff on hand.

We then we had a hard time getting them to smile...no biggy because my son was on hand to act silly and get those smiles.

Then I went to get the cake for their cake-smash and totally forgot I put it in the freezer to help the melting dots I added...

no biggy the girls didn't mind it was a little hard to smash.

Good thing you can't tell all this happen when you look of their sweet pictures.

I have been so lucky to get to watch these sweet girls grow up.

I remember their newborn session like it was yesterday, they were so sweet and wonderful.

Then I got to see them when they were 6-months-old for their family portraits...

and now they are turning ONE - and I still can't tell them apart. lol.

Crazy how kids just fly through their first year.

Happy Birthday to Harper and Willow you two are adorable and I love getting to watch you grow!

Johnson Family Portraits

I absolutely LOVE this family!

I have had the opportunity of photographing them every Fall for the past 5 years...

Talk about keeping up with a current family photo - they are amazing! Guarantee they will never regret it!

It has been so fun to watch their daughter change from baby to toddler to a beautiful little girl.

I've watched them add their little boy into the mix and he has grown and changed so much in the past couple years.

I am so lucky I get to catpure these wonderful memories for them.

I love it!

Such a wonderful family and full of laughter - love it!

I did their family portraits a few years ago and it has been fun to see them add a couple of grandkids into the mix.

Schedule Notice and a little pleading...

It is pretty sad when you have to schedule your family functions into your work schedule...but that's what I have been doing lately. Last night we went to the pumpkin patch - a tradition I love and I booked in my schedule a month ago. lol.

Fall is by far my favorite time of year and it happens to be my busiest. 

Trying to balance life as a stay-at-home and work-at-home mom is challenging. 

I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding. 

My blog is falling behind and previews are harder to get posted. 

I am trying my hardest to do big previews like a usually do but it is becoming harder. 

So if I don't have a lot of pictures on your preview please don't take offense at it 

I am just lucky I got one up. lol. 

Turnaround times during this busy season are 3-4 weeks as stated on my Policy page. 

I know I usually have a quick turnaround time of 2-3 weeks but when you have 7+ sessions a week that quick turnaround isn't possible. 

So please have patience with me while I try to balance my full-time work load and full-time mother/wife load during these next few months. 

Please don't message me a week after your session and ask me when your CD will be ready, lol 

I promise I won't forget about you and I am working as much as I possibly can. 

Because I do have a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old at home with me all day I am limited to what work I can get done during the day...I mostly have to revert to doing the bulk of my work while everyone else in my house sleeps. 

So please don't think I am a horrible person if you see me running errands around town in my pj's. :) 

Some days are harder than others to care about my appearance when I am pulling all-nighters. 

Okay that was my pleading, now onto my schedule notice...

My schedule is close to being full for the year. 

I have 2 slots left open for October. 

November and December are getting full. 

Idaho weather is so unpredictable and I don't have an inside space for group shots I have decided to not schedule any family sessions after Nov. 5th. 

Yes you heard me right, 

I WILL NOT BE SCHEDULING ANY FAMILY SESSIONS AFTER NOVEMBER 5th. 

So that means I only have a few spots left for Family Sessions.

So if you are wanting to schedule a session for October, November, or December - PLEASE CONTACT ME NOW (This includes newborn sessions) I can't guarantee I won't be booked up for the rest of the year by the end of the month. Please send me a message on facebook, or e-mail me for scheduling or information.

Kamden is ONE

Kamden's mommy wanted to get some portraits done while they were in town.

I am so happy she did because we had a wonderful session!

Kamden was so fun to work with and as you can see he is SOOOoooo ADORABLE!

He had plenty of big smiles to share with me, loved it!

His mom wanted to make his session vintage inspired 

so we gathered all the vintage stuff we could find and it was a blast. 

I even did a little vintage edit when I was doing this preview.

Hope his mommy likes it!

What To Wear - October

October...Are you serious?

I can't believe we are in October...already a WEEK into October.

I keep thinking to myself, life is going to slow down...

Now I am starting to just think I am in denial! It seems to be going faster!

Just thought I would post a little more inspiration for all of you with photo sessions coming up.

Fall is my favorite season and the best time to get those family portraits done!

I only have a couple more openings and I will be full for the rest of the year - CRAZY!

Harley & Kiddos

This "Me and My Pet" mini session was fun.

 Harley is the beautiful dog and his "people" are pretty darn cute too. lol

Working with pets has been a whole new experience for me and I have actually really enjoyed it. 

My husband really wants a St Bernard I of course am more of a cat person 

but Harley was such a well behaved dog he almost changed my mind - almost. lol.

I am sure each one of these kiddos will have wonderful memories with Harley.

Family pets are the best and really do become part of the family.
